So my camera hit the ground at Epcot and I was heartbroken and crushed. Our daughter came to the rescue temporarily while I problem solved getting a new camera. These pics are not perfect and not taken with the best camera, but they are awesome because it is our 14 year old daughter's first foray into taking Disney pics with her tablet. I am so proud! I am such an avid photog and vidog when it comes to Disney and her instincts on cool pictures were spot on. Some of them came out just gorgeous. This is from the Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Contemporary from a few nights ago with all of their floral and Christmas grandeur. Give her some kudos if you like the pics. I gave her a big hug and told her I was just in awe of her photo instincts! Some are funny and some are silly and some are just family so bear with me on those. I didn't want to just upload the pretty ones.
NOTE: If viewing on mobile device, you will see the big pic at the top and then small thumbnails. It is a slideshow so the pic will change and when you touch the bigger one, there should be arrows left and right to be able to advance or go back. The thumbnails are also clickable and will change the bigger pic and the top. They won't come in as a bigger pic on their own though. Keeping it vertical or the tall way, will allow you to see the pics easier but know that if you touch the top bigger pic you can use the arrows to advance or go back or play and pause the show. Some of them are ok horizontally too but the tall pics get cut off if you do that. Enjoy!!
Enjoy 172 pics in this slideshow of Polynesian Village, Grand Floridian and Contemporary Christmas and floral splendor! You can advance, start, stop and pause when you need to.
I had 10 internal memory shots available to me so I also snapped a few shots. For someone like me who adores taking pics and vid, it was tough to choose what to take!
This may not be the most exciting thing for this generation, but for our generation, this was off the charts exciting and one of those moments at Walt Disney World where you could just feel the pixie dust sprinkling all around you!! Her voice is lovely. She is beautiful and this was so special for us!
She was awesome! I love Hawaiian music and Lovely Hula Hands is one of my fav songs ever. She came to sing it to us at our table for Becky's bday celebration. After she sang it she asked me how I know the song and I told her that I think I heard it on the Brady Bunch and we laughed but then she told us that her uncle is Sam Kapu who actually sang with Don Ho on the Brady Bunch to Bobby and Cindy and he sang Sweet Someone which she sang to us after this one which is posted below. One of my favorite scenes from one of our favorite episode series in the Brady Bunch, and we actually had Sam Kapu's niece sing the same song to us sitting next to our son who we have always said looks like Bobby Brady. The day was awesome. The meal was awesome and having her sit with us and sing like this was just so off the charts special for us. A memory we will cherish forever!

"Sweet Someone" sung by Sam Kapu's Niece to us at Ohana
This is Sam Kapu's neice singing the same song that he and Don Ho sang to Bobby and Cindy in the Brady Bunch all those years ago. We were shocked and super excited to find out she was related to him. We talked for a while about the Hawaii episodes of the Brady's and laughed when we all did the little tiki music theme together. Coincidentally we were sitting next to Oliver too!! LOL! Anyone who is not a Brady Bunch fan will not understand the Oliver reference or the taboo tiki music. She was wonderful and having her at our table singing like this was off the charts so exciting!
Her uncle Sam Kapu is the one to the left of Don Ho and they are in Hawaii filming this episode of The Brady Bunch. At this time, my husband and I were about Bobby and Cindy's age which is what makes this so special!
We've had lots of special moments here at Walt Disney World and we are always amazed at how many special things there are even when you go to the same places. This was an unexpected, wonderful experience and one that will never be forgotten!! Thanks so much to Lipoa and her beautiful voice and talent and to Ohana for a wonderful meal and experience!!

Great Disney adventures! We lost everything and had to start over again, but we decided to do it with magic and style here in the most magical place on earth. We were scared to death but by letting go, managed to make Pixie Dust our lives instead. You can see more about our story at the bottom of the page here...
