Um no thanks! Yes there are days we say we are happy to NOT be there!!! Happy for blackout times! Today is one of those days. Living here for over 6 years we have learned some tricks to how to do things without the crowds and still be able to see it all. I read today that the line for It's a Small World went all the way back to Tales With Belle which is way too far for my tastes! Happier New Year not crammed in with all those people! Happy New Year y'all!

Last night we got lucky enough to be right up by the rope at the bottom of the ramp coming down from Cinderella Castle. We were actually just there to do a happy birthday video to both Walt and our friend and awesome cast member Cinda but then decided to stay there to watch wishes when we realized we could. We have never seen Wishes from that close before. We have seen it from many places in the park and outside the park, but this was amazing! The only downside was I only had a small amount of memory left on my disk so I only got bits of video. I did however get some quite amazing still shots of the colors of the castle and the fireworks. They are off the charts cool! I have included a slide show of those below and then also the video I did get which although short, is breath taking!! Enjoy the slideshow and videos below!!!
Enjoy 34 pics in this slideshow of the Christmas crystal lit and regular lit castle in brilliant colors. You can advance, start, stop and pause as you need to.
Our Daughter Took Some Awesome Shots Again Tonight too...
We always expect fun experiences at Walt Disney World, but this one was hilarious beyond words and I wish so much I would have had battery left in my video. On the way off the ferry boat coming back to the car at the Transportation and Ticket Center we came across this little guy. He was huge and adorable. I am not a fan of frogs but this little guy stole my heart!! Truly I have never seen a frog with more expressive eyes that looked like he was trying to communicate with us. The boys spotted him while B and I were in the restroom. So when we came out, they told us how far this little guy could jump. So I warned B not to get to close. So she bends down and starts talking to him about cute and adorable he is and she is talking to him like a little puppy. He first leans down on his arms like he was intent on listening to her and loving what she was saying. He is looking at her the whole time cocking his head left and then right like he is conversing with her. I was amazed. Then he jumps toward her a little and then.....the big jump onto her leg!! LOLOLOL Ok so after a lot of screaming and jumping and everyone laughing, a few minutes later, she is freaking out bc she has "frog juice" on her leg and now has what she is calling her "frog leg". LOL Oh man was it funny. So I told her that I was sure it was not a poisonous frog bc the poisonous ones are usually super brightly colored and this one was very neutral. Two service guys there confirmed it but did say she should wash etc. which of course we would have her do anyway. Then they tell us to beware of the toads, bc they have sticky stuff on them that can cause all kinds of serious problems and she was panicked. I'm thinking thanks for the warning, but bad timing and please stop talking now!! We reassured her that the little guy was harmless and probably a handsome prince that was looking for a kiss from a princess. Maybe Naveen?! Ya think? LOL
