My family stayed at the Contemporary Resort back in 77 when I was just 14 years old. Tonight I found the room "key" although these were not used as keys back then and also 2 tickets to Treasure Island. I am having a memory lapse though. What was Treasure Island? Anyone who knows anything, this info would be greatly appreciated. I clearly went there, but don't remember what it was. This was back in the day of E tickets. Of course the E ones were the best because they were for Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. The C tickets were fun too bc they were for Snow White and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Seeing the pattern of the tickets brings back feeling memories and such a love of Disney. I will look forward to people sharing memories of what Treasure Island was.

Have you tried googling it? I did and learned that Treasure Island eventually became Discovery Island which shut down in 1999 due to the popularity of Animal Kingdom. I remember seeing it in 1983 I think as Discovery Island and had a parrot perched on my arm for a photo op. There have been rumors of repurposing the island but none has come to fruition. Who doesn't love pics of Disney, other Fla parks and Central Florida especially when they have cool effects?! If you love special effects, you will love my site! My Disney, Universal, Seaworld and Central Florida photography/art is an obsession for me, but there has been little time to follow up on sharing it all. Not complaining! I am excited to share with you some amazing effects pics, videos, GIF animations, panoramas and collages . You'll also find my most beautiful pics/videos as I come across them. I am just getting started but I have a ton to share. Something new as often as I can post it. Your favorite memories as well as mine of being in the happiest place on earth (which for us is Florida parks, Florida nature as well as Disney) . Whether you loved your Florida/Disney vaca or just need to see some moving pix and pix that move you of Florida sunshine to brighten your mood, it will all be here. All will be free to see on my site anytime but I am also going to make some of my artwork available for sale for people to be able to have for their own collections or to print fx pix and panoramics for their walls or screens. My logo does meed to stay on the bottom of each GIF/effects pic/movie when sold and creative credit is still mine but I am thrilled to share with you and have you share with others.
