One Man's Dream and So Much Inspiration For Us! A Walt Disney Museum of Sorts at Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World

At Disney's Hollywood Studios with attractions like Rockin Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, it is easy to miss some of the gems that are a quieter form of sensation and experience. Since I am 9 years old, I have been to Disney World 9 times and I consider myself something of a Disney aficionado. I thought I knew a lot. Turns out I knew nothing much. This magnificent museum and film timeline history of how Walt Disney was inspired to have the magic and bring it to all of us is amazing! I was literally brought to tears.
As I sit here and edit and put together my pictures for this site, for some unknown reason, the song "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" popped into my head and was playing again and again. I started singing it and when I had driven Chris a little crazy with this, our daughter suggested our "Disney Legacy in Song" CD collection. I put it on and as the pics started doing their slide show, "When You wish Upon a Star" came on-the old version, as pictures of Walt and Mickey scrolled in front of me. It was overwhelming and inspirational for me. About 15 creative thoughts followed it to which I had to quickly open a note pad and start writing so I could keep them! Not to sound too nuts, but I felt like I was channeling Walt's creativity. He was at his lowest point, on a train, going from New York to California, after a major failure and as he sat on the train, a mouse popped into his head and he sketched it. Just popped into his head! The rest is history!
Although he is not here on Earth with us anymore, I am sure he is here in spirit at all things Disney. Thank you to Mr. Disney for bringing something so truly special and wonderful to the world as well as all the learning we can do from knowing your history. If someone can be as successful and amazing as you after feeling like you had failed so many times, there is hope for everyone!
