An Awesome Rocket Launch Seen from Downtown Disney Area at Walt Disney World
A traffic jam actually helped us...

Since this time we have actually seen a launch from Jetty Park at Port Canaveral up close and personal, which I will be posting on here as well, but at this point, we had only seen this from Disney at Saratoga Springs by Disney Springs. At this time it was still very cool!!! We were trying so hard to make it to a certain spot to see the rocket launch at the Downtown Disney Disney Springs area but a signage mistake issue caused a huge bottleneck of cars at the first entrance to the Downtown Disney West Side parking lot by Cirque e Soleil. So I was really frustrated and counting down the time out loud to how we were just not going to make it. As it turned out, it kept us there for a perfectly long time enough to only let us get a certain distance there and we ended up getting there just in time. How amazingly awesome that was!
Ok this was not right at Cape Canaveral (which we did later on and will post about soon) and we didn't see the actual rocket (which we did pretty close up later and will post) and all of it's contours, but for us Yankees, recently turned Southerners, this was so exciting. It was our first rocket launch seen with our own eyes and not through a tv screen and what a magical place to see it from!!
